Delhi: Gurucharan Singh, who rose to fame for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular Indian drama ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma’, was about to get married before he went missing.
According to Indian media, actor Gurucharan Singh has been missing since April 22 this month. The police have registered a case of kidnapping based on the complaint of the actor’s father.
Talking to Indian media, Delhi Police said that several teams have been formed to search for 50-year-old Gurucharan Singh.
Police sources said that initial investigation revealed that Gurucharan Singh was about to get married soon and was facing financial crisis.
According to preliminary investigation, Gurucharan Singh had withdrawn around INR 7,000 from an ATM in Delhi before going missing and his last location was traced to Palam.

In his complaint, the actor’s father said that the actor left for Mumbai from Delhi on April 22 (Monday) but did not reach Mumbai.
On the other hand, police officials say that Gurucharan Singh’s flight from Delhi to Mumbai was at 8:30 PM on Monday night, but he was spotted at a traffic intersection in Palam area of ​​Delhi at around 9:14 PM the same night.
In the footage captured by a security camera installed in the Palam area, the actor was seen crossing the road with a bag.
