More than 100 prisoners escaped from the prison of which country?

More than 100 prisoners escaped from a Nigerian prison after heavy rains.

More than 100 prisoners have escaped from a prison near Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. Jail officials said that heavy rains overnight had damaged some parts of the jail.

A few hours of overnight rain destroyed the fence of a medium-security prison in the Niger state town of Soleja, allowing a total of 118 inmates to escape, prisons spokesman Adamu Duzako said.

The Prison Service and other agencies managed to recapture 10 of the escaped prisoners while the remaining criminals are being pursued.

The spokesman added that the public is requested to look for the escaped prisoners and report any suspicious activity to the nearest security agency.
