NADRA officer who issued identity cards to Afghan citizens for 2.5 lakh rupees was arrested

The NADRA officer who issued Pakistani identity cards to Afghan citizens with Rs 250,000 was arrested.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) says that the assistant director NADRA was arrested on the issue of illegal issuance of Pakistani identity cards to Afghan citizens due to cancellation of pre-arrest bail.

FIA says that the accused Najeebullah was posted as Assistant Director in NADRA Office Blue Area, a case was registered against the accused in Anti-Corruption Circle Islamabad.

The spokesperson of FIA says that the arrested accused was involved in issuing illegal identity cards to Afghan citizens, the accused issued NADRA identity cards to Afghan citizens for two and a half lakh rupees per person.

FIA says that the accused has been arrested and investigation has been started, raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
