Pakistan is ready to send its cricket team to India, Ahsan Iqbal

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that Pakistan is ready to send its cricket team to India.

Speaking to Geo News, Ahsan Iqbal said that sports should be kept separate from politics, there was tension between Pakistan and India in the past but it did not affect sports, India should send its team to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy.

He said that the government alone cannot provide resources for sports, departments will be taken together.

Ahsan Iqbal said that unfortunately sports were neglected in Pakistan, the biggest mistake was to eliminate sports departments.

Ahsan Iqbal said that there is a strong effort to organize Safe Games in Pakistan in 2025, a plan has been made for a Pakistan Super League style hockey league.
