Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament; Pakistan’s chances of playing in the final are bright

After defeating Canada, Pakistan became favorites to reach the finals of the Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament.

In the ongoing Sultan Azlan Shah Hockey Cup in Ipoh, Malaysia, Pakistan defeated Canada 4-5. Sean Davis scored a goal in the fifth minute of the game, while Harber Sidhu scored a field goal in the 17th minute to make Canada 0-0. I led by 2 goals.

However, the national team made a comeback and before the end of the first half, Pakistan’s Abu Bakr scored two consecutive penalty corner goals to equalize the match.

In the second half, Pakistan’s side was heavy, Arshad Liaquat scored a field goal in the 36th minute, Ali Ghazanfar scored a field goal in the 44th minute, while Sean Davis and Arjat scored field goals from Canada. By the end of the game, Pakistan was 4-5. The advantage was gained.

On the other hand, Pakistan will play their fifth match against New Zealand on May 10. After playing 4 matches, the Pakistani team is leading with 10 points.
