Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s participation in the 19th Western Pacific Naval Symposium in China

Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the 19th Western Pacific Naval Symposium in China.

According to ISPR, the theme of the symposium was ‘A Shared Future with the Sea’. In which the heads of the navy and representatives of different countries from all over the world participated.

According to ISPR, Pakistan Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf met Commander US Pacific Fleet.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf also met the First Sea Lord and the Chief of Naval Staff of the Royal Navy.

He also met with Commander-in-Chief of Russian Federation Navy, Chief of Indonesian Navy and Chief of Bangladesh Navy.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf also met the Chief of Naval Operations of South Korea, the Acting Deputy Commander of the Brunei Navy and the Chief of the Singapore Navy.

According to ISPR, the Naval Chief highlighted the role of Pakistan Navy in dealing with the growing threats in the maritime domain and the blue economy at the global level.

According to ISPR, Pakistan Navy has been participating in the Western Pacific Naval Symposium as an observer since 2014.

According to ISPR, the visit will strengthen bilateral cooperation with partner navies to enhance regional and global maritime security.
