Pakistan’s Hamza Khan included in the main draw
After last year’s absence, Pakistan will once again be represented in the World Open Squash Arena. Pakistan’s junior world champion Hamza Khan has been included in the main draw of the World Open Squash.
The World Open Squash will be held from May 9 to 18 in Qaira, Egypt. The draw for the main round of the event has been finalized which includes Pakistan’s Hamza Khan.
Hamza Khan achieved a historic feat by winning the World Junior Squash Championship last year and based on this win, he got a place in the World Open.
Hamza Khan will face Switzerland’s Nicolas Muller in the first round on May 10.
It should be noted that in 2023 no player from Pakistan participated in the World Open Squash whereas in 2022 Asim Khan participated in the championship where he was eliminated in the first round.
