Qatar’s airport has once again won the award for the best airport in the world
Qatar is on the first place, Singapore is on the second place, while South Korea’s airport is on the third place
Doha: Qatar has once again won the award of the world’s best airport by defeating Singapore, which won the title of the world’s best airport in 2023.
According to the international news agency, Sky World Airport Awards 2024 has been won by Qatar’s Hamad International Airport and Singapore’s Changi Airport has been placed second. Earlier also in 2022, Hamad International Airport won the award of the best airport in the world.
Qatar’s Hamad International Airport handled 45 million passengers last year, which was a 31 percent increase compared to 2022 due to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
In the list of the best airports, South Korea’s airport is third and Tokyo’s two airports are fourth and fifth, while Paris is sixth and Dubai International Airport is seventh.
Similarly, Munich is at 8th place, Zurich at 9th place and Istanbul Airport at 2nd place.
It should be noted that the SkyWorld Airport list is compiled in the light of a survey in which the airport is ranked based on building, facilities, decoration, number of flights and management. Qatar Airport surpasses other airports in the world due to its modern design and best provided to passengers.
Qatar Airways CEO Badr Muhammad Al Meer said this success was achieved due to teamwork, hard work and dedication.
