Sadiq Khan made history by taking the oath of Mayor of London for the third time

Sadiq Khan has made history by taking the oath of Mayor of London for the third time. On this occasion, newly elected Mayor of London Sadiq Khan paid a great tribute to his parents.

He said that my father served this city as a bus driver. Sadiq Khan said his father was proud to call himself a Londoner.

He said that when my father came to Britain, racism was on the rise, there were signs on the windows of shops and guesthouses, Blacks, Irish and dogs are not allowed.

Mayor Sadiq Khan said the son of an Asian immigrant grew up in a council estate in south London to become mayor of the city.

He said that London is a wonderful city where there are countless opportunities for development. The participants of the event paid tribute to Sadiq Khan by clapping for a long time.
