Tehreek-e-Insaf announced a nationwide protest against rigging in the by-elections

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf announced a nationwide protest on Friday against alleged rigging in the by-election.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader and opposition leader in the National Assembly Umar Ayub said that their candidates won by rigging the by-elections as well.

He said that getting more votes for the League candidate than Shehbaz Sharif is rigged, candidates were defeated in Lahore and Gujarat.

He said that copying also requires wisdom, but unfortunately there is a lack of wisdom here. Umar Ayub alleged that DPO Gujarat was also involved in the rigging.

Umar Ayub said that he will protest against rigging in the whole of Pakistan on Friday, the movement will start from Faisalabad and a rally will be held in Karachi on March 5.

Barrister Gauhar requested the Election Commission to stop the notification of the success of the candidates who won in the by-election and demanded the court to take notice of the alleged rigging.
