However, Amir Saud Magsi SSP said that with the cooperation of Deputy Commissioner Shahryar Gul Memon, the work has been started to remove the defects of the Safe City system and make it effective and to keep an eye on the criminal elements through it.

The participants of the rally were chanting slogans of Zardari Tereshahrmein Andher hai Andher hai, stop stealing, protect the traders, protect the citizens.

Addressing a rally at the Press Club, President of Chemist and Druggist Association Didar Rand Shakeel Rajput and Abdul Hameed Sheikh said that the city has been handed over to thieves and robbers. Incidents are happening daily. Despite the Safe City project, the incidents in the city are proof that some of the black sheep in the police department have become facilitators of thieves and robbers. Police officers recruited in the police department should be re-screened.
