The possibility of the United Nations giving Palestine the status of an independent state
Palestine is likely to be given the status of a fully independent and independent state in the United Nations General Assembly on Friday.
The resolution will be presented by the United Arab Emirates in the General Assembly, 140 members of the General Assembly have already accepted Palestine as a state.
