The suspect entered the Iranian consulate in Paris, the French capital, the suspect was wearing a suspicious jacket.

On the information of the Iranian consulate, a heavy contingent of French police reached the scene and surrounded the building and arrested the suspect.

According to police sources, a toy grenade has been recovered from the possession of the suspect, no explosives have been recovered.

The accused is of Iranian origin and had previously tried to set fire to the Iranian consulate by throwing flammable substances.
