Rawalpindi: Police arrested a woman who ran away after hitting a policeman on Islamabad Motorway.
Pindi police sources said that the woman was traced and arrested from Islamabad, identified as Farah, while the vehicle in which the woman was riding has also been seized.

According to the sources, when the woman left the Islamabad club, the police chased her and with the help of lady officials, she was taken into custody and transferred to the police station.

SSP Operations said that the incident took place on January 2, 2024, in which an officer named Saber was injured, the woman being interrogated in the car. A case has been registered under the provisions of murder, torture and resisting the policeman, who will be produced in the court with a strong challan and will be punished.
He further said that indiscriminate action will be taken against those challenging the writ of law.
