Harnai: The security forces thwarted the terrorist attack by taking timely action in Harnai district of Balochistan and killed one terrorist and injured others in the exchange of fire.
According to the statement issued by the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), there was an exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists in Harnai district of Balochistan on April 27.
The ISPR said that the terrorists tried to intercept the passenger vehicles on Sanjavi Road in Harnai, to which the security forces immediately retaliated and effectively targeted the terrorists.
The statement said that as a result of firing, one terrorist was killed and another was injured.
According to the ISPR, the timely response of the security forces foiled the nefarious intentions of the terrorists and saved innocent lives, however, action is being taken to eliminate the possibility of any terrorist presence in the area.
ISPR said that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to thwarting efforts to sabotage the peace, stability and development of Balochistan along with the nation.
