Two innocent youths of Patuki escaped from India and reached Pakistan

Lahore: Two young men, residents of Pattoki village in Kasur region of Punjab, have returned to Pakistan after a year and a half after being freed from India.

According to details, Ibad Hasan and Zahid Abbas crossed the international border unknowingly into Indian territory in August 2022 after which they were arrested by the BSF.

The two minor boys were handed over to the Pakistani authorities at Wagah border in Lahore by BSF India on Friday. The Pakistan High Commission New Delhi has played an important role in the release and return of the two Pakistani youths.

It should be noted that Ibad Hassan and Zahid Hussain were acquitted by an Indian court on April 18, 2023 and ordered to send them back to Pakistan. Both the Pakistani youths were kept at Bal Siddhar Ghar (Reformation Home) in Faridkot India from where they were released on Thursday and sent to Attari/Wahagh border to be sent to Pakistan.

The Indian authorities handed over the two youths to the Pakistani authorities on Friday at the Attari/Wahagh border. It has also been learned that the Indian authorities tried to hand over these two youths to the Pakistani authorities a few weeks ago, but due to the incompleteness of their legal documents, these youths could not come to Pakistan.

Pakistan High Commission New Delhi took notice of the matter after which their return was possible. As soon as the two young men crossed the Wagah/Attari border and entered the Pakistani territory, their eyes were filled with tears of joy and joy was visible on their faces. He thanked Allah that he has returned to his home and loved ones after 19 months.
