US State Department spokeswoman on Gaza policy resigns

The female spokeswoman of the US State Department has resigned in protest over US President Joe Biden’s policy on Gaza.

According to foreign media, Hala Rahrrit, an Arabic language interpreter, was also the deputy director of the Dubai Regional Media Hub and joined the US State Department as a political officer in 2006.

According to reports, this is the third resignation in the US State Department over the Gaza issue.

On social media, the female spokesperson wrote about her resignation that she resigned in April 2024 after 18 years of service in opposition to America’s Gaza policy.

Hala Rharrit wrote in his message that take diplomacy not arms and be a force for peace and unity.
