Woman killed for resisting robbery in Malir, robber also killed by violence of citizens

Karachi: In Malir Jafar Tayar Society, a woman was killed by robbers while a citizen was injured.

According to Express News, 3 bandits on motorcycles were robbing citizens near Mangal Bazaar in Jafar Tayar Society area of ​​Malir City. Meanwhile, a citizen opened fire on them, and the bandits also started firing as a result. A woman and a man were injured.

Meanwhile, the residents of the neighborhood caught a bandit and tortured him and shot him dead. As soon as the incident was reported, the police and rescue volunteers reached the spot.

The injured were being shifted to Jinnah Hospital for immediate medical assistance when the woman succumbed to her injuries and was identified as 30-year-old Shahida.

According to police officials, the deceased Shahida was a resident of the same locality belonging to Lodhran, who worked as a domestic worker while staying at her paternal aunt’s house in Malir Jafar Tayar Society.

SHO Malir City Farast Shah said that the dead bandit was identified as Israr son of Sharif with the help of the identity card found in his pocket, who was a resident of Shafi Goth area of ​​Shah Latif Town.

He said that the dead bandit was killed by firing, but the investigation is being done by getting more information from the eyewitnesses, the motorcycle found in the possession of the bandit was seized by the police.
