Ali Zafar withdrew the appeal against Meesha Shafi
Islamabad: The Supreme Court disposed of Ali Zafar’s appeal against the online cross-examination of Misha Shafi.
Meesha Shafi sexual harassment case was heard in the Supreme Court. The hearing was conducted by a three-member bench headed by Justice Mansoor Ali Shah.

Singer Ali Zafar withdrew the appeal filed on the issue of Meesha Shafi’s online cross-examination. Ali Zafar’s lawyer said that Meesha Shafi has been cross-examined online, and wants to withdraw the appeal if it is ineffective.
The Supreme Court dismissed Ali Zafar’s appeal on the grounds of withdrawal.
Meesha Shafi had accused Ali Zafar of sexual harassment several times in 2018. Both Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi had filed defamation cases against each other over this issue and the dispute has not yet reached a logical conclusion.
