Srinagar: Unknown armed men ambushed an Indian Air Force convoy in Poonch district of Jannat Nazir Valley.

According to Indian media, a vehicle included in the convoy of the Indian Air Force was surrounded from all sides and fired indiscriminately in Occupied Kashmir.

The attack was so sudden and effectively planned that the Indian Air Force personnel did not get a chance to recover.

There were 4 Indian Air Force personnel in the vehicle who were seriously injured in the attack. After the attack, the attackers evaded the Indian army convoy and escaped easily.

Other officials in the convoy shifted the injured officials to a nearby hospital where one official was confirmed dead while 4 others were seriously injured.

The death toll is expected to increase due to the critical condition of the two injured. After the attack, more Indian army personnel were called and house-to-house search is going on in Poonch district.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack, but since the implementation of the Black Law by the Modi government on August 5, 2019, there has been an increase in attacks on the Indian Army by Kashmiri freedom struggle organizations.

Under this Act, Occupied Kashmir was divided into 2 parts (Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh) by abolishing the special powers granted to it in the Constitution and made it a federal unit instead of a separate state or province.
