PTI’s decision to make Sheikh Waqas Akram the Chairman PAC
Earlier, Imran Khan has also nominated Shirafazl Marwat and Hamid Raza as Chairman Public Accounts Committee
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to make Sheikh Waqas Akram the Chairman Public Accounts Committee (PAC).
Both PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat and Sunni Etihad Council chief Hamid Raza dropped out of the race to become PAC chairman. According to the sources, the political committee of Tehreek-e-Insaf approved the name of Sheikh Waqas Akram.
It should be remembered that the founder PTI Imran Khan had earlier nominated Shira Fazl Marwat as the Chairman Public Accounts Committee. However, when there were serious differences in the party over his name, the founder PTI nominated Hamid Raza, the head of the Sunni Ittehad Council, as the chairman of the Public Accounts Committee instead of him.
