Abu Aliha, the creator of this novel in Punjabi, is known as a journalist, script writer, director and blogger. Film is his specialty, though his blogs also cover showbiz. Perhaps it is the result of deep attachment to the film industry that everything from the style of “Patiala Shahi” to the story and dialogues seems filmy. The narrative of the novel takes the form of a script and throughout the novel the story is told through the mapping of scenes and dialogues between the characters.

While reading the novel, the scenes of the famous Bollywood movie “Dilwale Dilnahya Le Jayenge” start circulating in front of the eyes. The author of ‘Patiala Shahi’ himself had a keen sense of resemblance and similarity. Anyway, this is a simple, light hearted love story, with an element of sarcasm. Abu Aliha brings his comedy skills to bear in dialogues and situations. The characters of “Babarjit” and his wife “Naju” and their mutual relationship are the gain of the novel.

These characters and their stories have given the novel a vivid color. These two characters and their story are so unique that a separate novel can be written on it. “Patiala Shahi” is characterized by its Sikh background. Heroes including heroines, excluding Babarjet and Najo. The main characters of the novel are Sikhs and the story is related to Nankana Sahib. It is probably the first novel written in Pakistan in which the main focus of the story is the members of the Sikh community.

It would have been good if the religious rituals and beliefs of Sikh Dharma had been described in detail through the story, so this novel would have come out as a novel representing the Sikh culture. Along with the novel, three short stories are also part of the book, titled “Pakuriyan Aali Kadhahi”, “Mein Khamiyaza Sahil Da” and “Puri Geerat Aala”. Surprisingly, from the cover to the front These legends are not even mentioned anywhere. In terms of their themes and texture, these three short stories are worthy of reading and appreciation, and all three have shocking endings.

The life of Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who reached the heights of popularity as an anchor and TV host, is a strange story of unprecedented rise and tragic end.

Bringing the religious programs of electronic media to the top of the ratings is an event in the history of Pakistani TV channels that will always be remembered with the name of Dr. Amir Liaquat. He also made a name in journalism and politics. Along with this controversial phrases and controversies are also an introduction to his personality. The book under review is written on the life and personality of Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, whose full name is “Ishq Rasool Ki Lazwal Dastan, A Journey of Faith, Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain”. The author of the book, Natasha Anwar, considers Dr. Aamir Liaquat as her mentor and the love and devotion of a disciple is embedded in the lines of her writing.

Because of this devotion and connection, it is futile to expect from this work that this is a very popular figure of our time, whose name was included in the list of influential figures in the Muslim world three times, and who is in his own right a person of interest. The facts about the life of a man with many aspects and his character and personality will be brought before the readers with full truth. The respect and place of Dr. Aamir in the heart of the author can be estimated from the title of one chapter: “Characteristics of Murshid Pak and Khasail-e Hamida.” Study while giving status, otherwise there will be severe disappointment.
