Coffin-shaped registered car up for auction

A dragster-style custom car has been designed that looks exactly like a coffin. The car was recently put up for auction for $28,750, which instantly went viral.

Similar to the Drag-U-La Coffin car in a 1965 episode of the television series The Minsters, the unconventionally shaped vehicle features a custom box frame chassis and an 8-inch fiberglass coffin-shaped bodywork. .

It is not actually a coffin but has been shaped to accommodate the driver’s seat behind the rear axle of the car, but it looks very much like a coffin.

The car is complete in every way, including the rear wheels wrapped in racing silks, while its organ-style vertical exhaust pipes and lantern-style lighting make it even more impressive.

This coffin car looks more like a movie prop than a real road car. But it is an all-original 1928 New York-registered Ford car with an authentic license plate.
