Confirmation of appointment of Tariq Bugti as President PHF

Pakistan Sports Board has confirmed the appointment of Tariq Bugti as PHF President.

According to Express News, the Pakistan Sports Board has handed over a confirmation letter to the Hockey Federation officials in this regard, in which it is recorded that the house has given a vote of confidence to the candidate nominated by the Prime Minister, Tariq Bugti, in the presence of a representative of the Sports Board. And now PHF President Tariq Bugti has been appointed.

Secretary PHF Rana Mujahid, who took the vote of confidence from the House along with Bugti, has sent the letter and other evidence to FIH. FIH will determine the actual Pakistan Hockey Federation before the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament.

Pakistan Sports Board is bearing the camp expenses for the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament. The Sports Board itself will send the team for the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament, with the trials scheduled for Sunday with a one-day delay. Some of the players who are part of the Karachi camp are also likely to report to the Islamabad camp today.

Prime Minister Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood has given the task of selecting the team to the Dutch coach. Rolan Oltmans will be accompanied by representatives of POA and PSB at the trials. POA has appointed Manzoorul Hasan Sr. as its representative.

Plans are being made for the departure of the national team to Malaysia on May 2 for the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament. The Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament will be played from May 4 to 11 in Ipoh, Malaysia.
