Jesse Keefe, 39, admitted in his deposition that he stole the login ID of a local doctor in the state of Hawaii to access the online death registry system.

According to investigators, Jesse created a file of his name in the online system and used a doctor’s ID to stamp his death. Jesse also admitted to illegally accessing various websites operated by the states of Arizona and Vermont that led to him being listed as dead in several government databases.

In his defense, the accused said that he committed these crimes to avoid child support for the children from his ex-wife.
