New York: The United Nations Meteorological Agency has said that humans have only two years left to save the world from the devastating effects of climate change.

According to media news, the agency has called on developed countries to take quick and effective measures to curb heat-increasing emissions.

The agency’s executive secretary, Simon Steele, said he knew the warning sounded like a dramatic statement, but quick action was essential. He said that the question of who actually has two years to save the world? So the answer is everyone on this planet.

He said that more and more people now want to see action on climate change at both the social and political levels as they are feeling the effects of the climate crisis in their daily lives and even in their household expenses.

It should be noted that the above warning was specifically for the G20 countries, which include developed and developing countries like the US, China and India. These countries are responsible for 80 percent of global warming emissions.
