Federation and Sindh Milkar are going to crackdown on drug dealers, Sharjeel Memon

Karachi: Provincial Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that President Asif Zardari has given clear instructions that no concession will be made to anyone who patronizes or facilitates criminals.

According to Express News, in the light of President Zardari’s instructions, important decisions were taken in the 21st meeting of the Apex Committee, including crackdown on drug dealers, operations against illegal immigrants, operations against robbers and criminals.

Speaking to the media after the Apex Committee meeting at the Chief Minister’s House, Sharjeel Memon said that the bad days of drug dealers have begun, if they do not stop drug dealing, their fate is going to be bad.

He said that the federal and provincial governments are cracking down on drug dealers together, joint teams will be formed by the federal and provincial governments against drug dealers, and joint check posts will be made in the border areas of the province.

He said that more changes are being made in the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department, strict legislation is being enacted against some people who supply drugs in schools and homes, Rangers, Police and Anti-Narcotics Force in Sindh. Actions are being taken against vendors.

He said that illegal immigrants are being identified and their data is being collected, the places where illegal immigrants take shelter will also be monitored.

Sharjeel Memon said that there has been an important development in the case of the attack on the KPO in Karachi. In the investigation of a person involved in the attack on the KPO, it has been revealed that he was a madrasah teacher. That wherever such elements exist, their nefarious intentions will be thwarted.

He said that the president has given clear instructions to the government of Sindh that there should be no leniency with the facilitators of dacoits, in this regard the policy of the Sindh government is zero tolerance. Yes, several hostages have been rescued.

The provincial minister said that all institutions and people are on the same page against street criminals, the police is taking action against them.

The senior minister said that in the Apex Committee meeting, important decisions were also taken regarding the exhibition of weapons. Exhibition of weapons will not be allowed, law enforcement agencies will take action in this regard from tomorrow, strict action will be taken against anyone who exhibits weapons without uniform.
