History and interpretation – Express Urdu

History is a long journey of human movement. There is a flowing river and we are the reflection of this river, and this history is our reflection. That is, the substance of the yeast found in our ancestors, which lives in our DNA, is also the fruit of history.

In this long journey of history, we have seen civil wars, wars of armies, wars that were fought in courts, and thinkers, thinkers and leaders who are also the history of philosophy, thoughts, ideas, literature and architecture. The culture and civilization we are a part of, the state we live in, we are also a reflection of them, whether it is wrong or right, we are also a part of the movements that are international or local.

Where did ancient Greece go, Socrates who was sentenced to death by the court, the Roman general Julius Caesar who considered himself the dictator of Rome and his dearest friend Marcus Junius Brutus during the senate meeting? Attacked and stabbed him in the stomach. The Macaulay who looked at the calculations of the state with a third eye. The book “Prince” written by Macaulay was read by both Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Zia-ul-Haq. It is a storehouse of memories that is locked in our minds, that resides in our subconscious, these memories are a part of us.

When we write the seventy-five-year history of Pakistan, it is actually a story, from the day Pakistan came into existence till today, but the story of this land is even older than that. It is the history of the struggle started by the Muslims in united India, for an independent state. The majority in the form of the Congress Party got the leadership of Gandhi, Nehru and Valabhai Patel and Jinnah who got a separate homeland for the Muslims, but behind them was the “Muslim League” a party of Nawabs and Sardars. What would you do! This party was meant to be. During the 100-year rule of the British, the Muslims were repelled because the British were Muslims who fought imperialism, it was the British who took away sovereignty from the Muslims, and they were afraid of the Muslims.

Why only Muslims, we are also a reflection of Mehran valley, whose history starts from Ladakh and Tibet. The river that twists and turns, melts with waterfalls, has been going for thousands of years. The river on the banks of which Harappa, Taxila, Mehrgarh and Moen civilizations lived. I don’t know how many religions have come and gone. Jainism, Buddhism spread, from Raja Dahir to Talapras ruled this civilization. Nadershah Afshar was counted among the invaders who set the worst example of destruction on this land and stole the priceless diamond of Koh-e-Noor.

The existence of Pakistan was a continuation of the eight hundred years of Muslim rule in Delhi, but India was definitely divided. The part of the subcontinent where Pakistan was formed had a majority of Muslims. It was a unique partition in the world in which millions of people were massacred. There was a terrible migration from Punjab to Punjab. Sikhs and Hindus migrated from here and Muslims from there.

The Second World War was won by the Allies, in which the British empire was also an ally, but after the end of the Second World War, the British became weak, then they thought of withdrawing from India, but they left the issue of Kashmir unfinished. That a spark will continue to burn in this region. What would have happened if the British did not leave the issue of Kashmir unfinished?

Lord Mountbatten was the last Viceroy of India and was very close to Jawaharlal Nehru. According to Kuldeep Nirke, Nehru made a big mistake by saying that Kashmir should not be handed over to Pakistan because Nehru himself was a Kashmiri and his ancestors were also Kashmiris and he did not want Kashmir to be annexed to Pakistan.

The problem of Kashmir would have been solved today, if Jinnah had been given a few years of respite. Today, Pakistan and India would probably be very close. This enmity would not flourish. Both had wars. During the times when Pakistan was formed, the world was facing a cold war and this cold war continued till 1990. This status quo was broken after the collapse of the Soviet Union. In Fukuyama’s famous essay “End of History”, the essayist wanted to say that democracy i.e. market economy defeated controlled economy i.e. dictatorship.

Amrita Sen sought solutions in the market economy to end poverty. Then it was found that history does not end. Rulers like Trump emerged from the market economy. Ninety percent of the world’s assets are held by one percent of the world’s population and ten percent of the world’s assets are held by 99% of the world’s population. This worst injustice in history gave birth to capitalism, spreading environmental pollution.

Kal Marx said that history is actually an interpretation of class contradictions and conflicts and the struggle against them, but Yuval Harari, one of the few great philosophers today, also says that history means that since man came out of the caves. Yes, started farming for sustenance and today that history has also become a question mark because artificial intelligence has come into the world.

Shortening the story, one angle in the continuity of history is our Pakistan, whose ancient name is Indus and Mehran, which the Greeks mentioned in their books and even today it is the civilization of the Mehran Valley on both sides of the Indus (Indus River). is spread We have to go back to our history. In the history of Moen Jo Daro, Harappa and Taxila, the history which is part of the Baloch, the history which is the history of Punjabis, Pakhtuns and Sindhis is actually our history.

We tried to distort this history, what was the result, today we are strangers to ourselves. We made them heroes who were usurpers. These usurpers massacred and robbed the people here. We have to abandon this interpretation of history. Neither the state has any religion nor history. A state is a combination of many religions. People of different religions live in the state.

As an independent state Pakistan is at the point it is at today, that point will decide whether Pakistan is a country of multi-ethnicity, different religions, languages, civilizations and cultures. It is a welfare state and all nations, religions, languages, civilizations and cultures are equal in this country subject to the constitution and laws of this country.
