Hubble Telescope Malfunction, NASA Suspends All Telescope Operations

Washington: NASA has suspended all operations of the space telescope due to a malfunction in the Hubble telescope in space.

According to the American media, the American space agency NASA has put it in safe mode due to a malfunction in the telescope and has started work to remove the malfunction.

NASA scientists identified a fault in the telescope’s Gyroscope earlier this week, which has temporarily halted the telescope’s functionality.

The space agency said in a statement that the gyroscope in the telescope was giving incorrect readings. A gyroscope is a device that helps determine the direction of a telescope.

The agency added that the Hubble telescope uses a maximum of three gyroscopes to improve its performance, while in case of an emergency, it can operate with only one gyroscope.
