In support of the Palestinians, student protests became more widespread

The student protest that started in America in support of the oppressed Palestinians of Gaza has become more widespread.

Now students from Britain, Italy, France and Australia have also joined the fray, they have supported severing ties with Israeli companies.

On the other hand, the Gaza solidarity camp of students at Columbia University is still going on after ten days, protests have started in more 40 campuses of other universities.

Protesters at other universities, including the universities of Illinois and Pennsylvania, have been threatened with arrest and suspension.

The series of arrests continues in various universities, so far the number of arrested protesters has reached more than 600.

The United Nations Human Rights Office has expressed concern over the arrests of peaceful protesters in the United States.
