Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of Aviation and Defense Khawaja Asif visited Sialkot Airport

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Aviation and Defense Minister Khawaja Asif have visited Sialkot Airport.

The federal ministers reviewed the facilities for passengers at the arrival and departure terminals at Sialkot Airport.

The Ministers expressed their dissatisfaction over the facilities at the Sialkot Airport for those going abroad and ordered to increase the facilities for the convenience of the passengers.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also ordered to increase the immigration counters during the closure of the airport.

He said that those going abroad have to wait for 60 minutes for immigration, immigration counters will be increased for passengers so that they do not have to wait.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that 12 immigration counters should be operational when Sialkot Airport reopens, provision of more facilities should be completed during the closure of Sialkot Airport.

On this occasion, Minister of Aviation and Defense Khawaja Asif said that the search process has been simplified for the convenience of passengers, ANF, Customs, ASF checking at Sialkot Airport is not 3 but 1.

The federal ministers also gave instructions to complete the works of facilities at Sialkot Airport in 15 days.

It should be noted that Sialkot Airport is closing for 15 days for the runway expansion project.
