Massive reshuffle in Punjab bureaucracy, transfers of officers

Lahore: The Punjab government transferred 49 administrative officers, including 7 Lahore commissioners, 7 deputy commissioners and two administrative secretaries.

On behalf of the Punjab government, the provisions of the appointment and transfer of a total of 49 officers including Chairman Punjab Service Commission, Commissioner Lahore, two administrative secretaries, 7 deputy commissioners were issued.

Assistant Commissioners, Deputy Secretaries, Additional Deputy Commissioners, Director and Sub-Registrar are also included among those who have been transferred while 11 of them have been promoted to Grade 18 on regular basis by implementing the provisions of the Establishment Division.

According to the notification, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Muhammad Abdul Aziz has been appointed as Chairman Punjab Public Service Commission on contract for three years while Muhammad Tanveer Jabbar has been replaced as Chief Executive Officer, FIDMK and made OSD.

Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa has been replaced and instructed to report to the Establishment Division and he has been released from Punjab, while Secretary Services and General Administration Zaid Bin Maqsood has been replaced and appointed Commissioner Lahore Division.

Secretary Tourism Punjab Raja Jahangir Anwar has been posted as Secretary Environment and he will also have the additional charge of Secretary Tourism. Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Captain (retd) Shoaib Ali has been transferred and made OSD while Additional Secretary Chief Minister Secretariat Captain (retd) Aurangzeb Haider Khan has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Sargodha.

Apart from this, DIG Security Division Kamran Adil has been replaced as City Police Officer Faisalabad, while SSP Operations Hasan Javed Bhatta has been withdrawn from the post of City Police Officer.

Transfers in the Police Department

According to the notification, DIG Kamran Adil has been transferred as City Police Officer Faisalabad, Syed Ali has been transferred as DPO Diza Ghazi Khan, Ahmad Mohiuddin has been transferred as Mandi Bahauddin, Raza Safdar Kazmi has been transferred. Police School Intelligence, Asad Ejaz Malhi has been posted as DP Osargodha, while Bilal Zafar has been posted as DPO Sheikhupura and Zahid Nawaz Marwat as CPOSP headquarters.

Abdullah Lak, DPO Bhakkar, DPO Bhakkar Mohammad Naveed, AIG Finance Central Police Office, Kamran Mumtaz, DPO Lodhran, and DPO Lodhran Hussam Bin Iqbal have been ordered to report to the IG office.

Mustansar Atta Bajwa has been posted as DPO Gujarat while DPO Gujarat Asad Muzaffar has been posted as SP Telecom Lahore.
