More than 2 tons of drugs recovered in ANF operations

More than 2 tons of drugs were recovered by ANF in various operations.

According to the spokesman of the Anti-Narcotics Force, anti-narcotics operations are ongoing across the country. In recent 10 operations, 2 tons of 133 kg of drugs have been recovered and 7 suspects have been arrested.

460 grams of ice was recovered from a passenger going to Bahrain at Karachi Airport, besides 19 kg of hashish was recovered from 3 suspects at Port Qasim Karachi while 1.4 kg of ice was recovered from 3 parcels at the courier office in Quetta.

Besides, 2080 metric tons of hashish was recovered from Qila Abdullah. 14 kg of hashish near Sakran Road hub and 14 grams of weed from a parcel sent from UK at courier office in Rawalpindi.

Meanwhile, 580 grams of heroin has been recovered from the parcel sent to the UK at the DHL office at Lahore Airport. 8.8 kg hashish and 2.4 kg opium were recovered from the accused near M1 Islamabad. 5.6 kg of diazepam was recovered from an Afghan national at Zero Line Torkham, while 460 grams of hashish was recovered from the accused near GT Road Attock.

Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against the suspects arrested in the operations and investigation has been started.
