Record attempt for the fastest mile in the pool

Norwich: A British citizen has attempted to set a Guinness World Record by running a mile in the shortest time in a swimming pool.
Adam Lopez, 37, from Norwich, UK, completed 63 laps in the 82-foot long swimming pool in 35 minutes and 24 seconds.
Adam Lopez covered the distance in four minutes and 30 seconds less than the existing Guinness World Record. However, evidence of their efforts is yet to be verified by the institution.
Adam Lopez said he started exercising in the swimming pool after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
He said that sometimes we do not give importance to our lives and health and we should not do that, we should take care of our body.
The record-breaking effort raised money for Grace, a 5-year-old girl diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy.
