Washington: The US has threatened to impose more sanctions on Iran in the coming days.
According to the World News Agency, the US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has warned that she plans to impose new sanctions on Iran in the coming days, which will reduce Iran’s oil exports.
These views were expressed by the US Finance Minister Janet Yellen in a news conference on the occasion of the meeting of the IMF and the World Bank. Janet Yellen said that the purpose of these sanctions is to stop Iran’s financing of terrorists.
The US Treasury Secretary said that it is clear that Iran is still exporting oil to some countries and that the proceeds could potentially be used to finance terrorists.
Meanwhile, a senior US official said that we have spoken with all major suppliers around the world, including China and the G-7 countries, to prevent all these countries from importing from Iran.
It should be remembered that in response to the attack on its embassy in Syria, Iran attacked Israel three days ago with hundreds of drones and missiles.
