Virtue and blessings of Lailat-ul-Qadr

The third decade of Ramadan and its supplication is: “O Allah! Save us from the punishment of the fire.

Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa narrates: “When the ten (last) ten days of Ramadan began, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to wake up at night and used to wake up his family members and bend his back for worship.” (Sahih Bukhari) )

By the way, the entire Ramadan is the spring season of good deeds and a special month of obedience and worship, but the last decade is the height of this season of worship. That is why the Prophet ï·º used to make special arrangements for itikaaf during these ten days.

Itikaf refers to leaving home and staying inside the mosque during the last ten days of the month of Ramadan and engaging in the worship of Allah. In this way, the servant stays closer to Allah Ta’ala. A person who seeks Lailat-ul-Qadr and benefits from its blessings and sits in Itikaaf is called Mu’tikaf.

Those sitting in Itikaaf are not allowed to leave the mosque except for ablution or any other absolutely necessary work. It is extremely important to spend most of the time during Mutikaf in reciting the Holy Qur’an, dhikr and thinking, paying Nawafal, glorifying and glorifying Allah the Exalted.

On the authority of Hazrat Abu Saeed al-Khudri, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Meaning:

“Look for Shab Qadr in every odd night of the last ten nights.”

In Muslim countries around the world and especially in Pakistan, millions of children of Islam are in Itikaf. And if Allah, the Exalted and the Exalted, grants Tawfiq, every Muslim should benefit from the blessings of this Sunnah. Mosques are the house of Allah Ta’ala and it is a great blessing to sit at this door as a questioner. Scholars say that I’tikaf in the last decade of Ramadan is Sunnah-e-Kifayah. If some people of the neighborhood perform this Sunnah, then the right of the mosque, which is obligatory on all the neighborhoods, will be fulfilled.

According to Imam Bukhari, although the last ten years are better, but it is not necessary, it can be done before it. I’tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan is Masnoon. It is recommended that whenever a person goes to the mosque, he should make the intention of I’tikaf for as long as he intends to stay in the mosque.

Ibadahs are actually of two types, one is physical worship and one is financial and there are examples of both worships in front of us. Prayer and fasting are considered physical worship. Zakat is called financial worship and Hajj is a combination of financial and physical worship. All these worships are performed collectively and individually with silence and a bit of serenity. This last decade has been given the title of salvation from hell. An important act of worship in this last ten days is “Itikaf”, which begins before sunset on the twentieth day of fasting and ends after the Eid moon appears.

The greatness and excellence of I’tikaf has been mentioned in many places in the hadiths of the Holy Prophet. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “I’tikaf of ten days of Ramadan is like two Hajjs and two Umrahs.” On another occasion, the Prophet ï·º said, Meaning: Whoever performs I’tikaf with sincerity and faith to seek the pleasure of Allah, his past minor sins will be forgiven.

Those who are aware of the blessings of this holy month do not waste any opportunity or moment of worship in Ramadan. Because Ramadan Sharif comes only to get the maximum share of the rewards given by Allah. Repent of sins, promise not to do evil, and pray to Allah for religious and worldly welfare. He is the creator of the universe and never rejects our legitimate and every halal supplication, if supplications are made with all the conditions and especially with humility, the permission of acceptance is granted.

May Allah, the Exalted, grant us all the blessings and blessings of Ramadan and contribute to the maximum amount of worship. Amen
