Peshawar: The Central Council of Awami National Party unanimously elected Senator Amil Wali Khan as the Central President of Awami National Party.
Awami National Party Central Council meeting was held at Bacha Khan Center Peshawar, in which council members from across the country and other members of the Central Election Commission participated.
Chairman Central Election Commission Mian Iftikhar Hussain presided over the meeting.
Former Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti suggested the name of Senator Amil Wali Khan for the central presidency. All members of the Central Council approved the name of Senator Amil Wali Khan.
In the meeting, Senator Amil Wali Khan was unanimously elected as the Central President of Awami National Party.
