An important meeting with the Army Chief along with the Saudi Foreign Minister’s delegation

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud along with a delegation met Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Tuesday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, the Saudi Foreign Minister met the Chief of Army Staff, in which mutual interests and policies were discussed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields.

According to the statement, the Saudi Foreign Minister highlighted the sustainable and strategic nature of the relationship between the two countries and emphasized on finding new ways to further strengthen the bilateral relationship.

On this occasion, the Army Chief praised the visit of the delegation while stressing the importance of brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He said that Pakistani people show this devotion and love for their Saudi brothers. The Army Chief reiterated the full support of the delegation and wished both the states for a mutually beneficial outcome of the talks.

It should be noted that after Pakistan’s efforts to attract Saudi Arabia for investment, a high-level delegation led by the Saudi Foreign Minister has arrived in Pakistan on Monday.

The delegation from Saudi Arabia includes important ministers and senior officials.

The visit follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Riyadh earlier this month, in which the prime minister offered to hold wide-ranging talks with the Saudi leadership.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has directed his senior cabinet ministers to visit Islamabad immediately to explore potential areas of investment. Pakistan is giving great importance to this visit.
