Chinese citizen holds record for longest ‘human fountain’

A man in China has set a record for continuously spouting water like a fountain for six minutes.

It is reported that recently a 35-year-old citizen of China, Ma Hui, set a new Guinness record for the longest continuous spouting of water from his mouth for about six minutes (5 minutes 51.88 seconds).

Water sprouting is quite an old trick and dates back to the 17th century. In it, the stunt performer or record holder drinks a large amount of water and expels it through the mouth as desired with the help of his internal muscles.

This trick is not for everyone. But over the years there have been some impressive people who do it by becoming human fountains.

Something similar was done by Ma Hui of China. However, to say that they broke the previous record would be a complete understatement, because what they did and for how long is astounding.

While the previous record was held by Kerobal Yelma of Ethiopia who sprayed water for only 56.36 seconds. Ma Hui drank four and a half liters of water to set this record.
