Paris: Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in France on his first foreign visit this year, where he was warmly welcomed by his counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
According to the world news agency, the President of China has arrived in France after 5 years on a visit to European countries. Where he also met with the President of the European Commission, Von der Leyen, in addition to the French counterpart.
The tripartite meeting at the Elysée Palace in Paris discussed the prospects for further consolidation, development and long-term partnership and actions in this regard.
The three leaders agreed on the need to build consensus and coordination. This closeness of China to European countries is being declared as the beginning of a new era of turmoil and change in the world.
French President Emmanuel Macron also pressed China to adhere to fair international trade rules in trade with Russia in the wake of the Ukraine war.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that although analysts do not expect major changes in Chinese policy, China wants to see peace in Ukraine.
