19-year-old Prachi Nigam, who topped the state of UP, had hair growing on her lips
New Delhi: 19-year-old Prachi Nigam, who topped 5.5 lakh high school board students in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, is facing severe trolling on social media for growing mustache-like hair above her face and lips.
According to Indian media, interviews were aired after this intelligent girl topped the board, but instead of praising or encouraging her intelligence, trolling is being done on social media.
Prachi Nigam, a topper in UP Board in Intermediate, says that due to this trolling, I have stopped watching social media now and all my attention is focused on the next exams.
Prachi Nigam said that I was so engrossed in my inter exams that I didn’t notice that my lip hair was getting darker. I am the same. This should not be a problem for anyone.
The student added that no one in my family and school has ever discussed appearance. Everyone’s attention was on my studies but now I think that if my marks were less than one or two and I didn’t top, maybe there wouldn’t have been so many problems.
Prachi Nigam’s mother said that we didn’t really pay attention to it and never sent our daughter to a parlor etc. But now we will consult a doctor.
