Show-cause notice issued to police personnel sent from Shikarpur to Karachi due to public response

Karachi: Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has issued a show-cause notice to 74 out of 79 police personnel who were transferred from Shikarpur district to Karachi range after a strong reaction from the public and political circles.
According to the announcement made by Sindh Police Spokesperson, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has said that no posting will be given to 79 policemen transferred from Shikarpur to Karachi. The company is being transferred.
IG Sindh said that no posting will be given to the 79 police personnel to be transferred.

He said that show cause notices have also been issued while initiating departmental proceedings against him.
The spokesman said that on the instructions of IG Sindh, the said police personnel are being transferred to B Company established in Garden Police Headquarters South and the inquiry process has also been started against all 79 police personnel, in the light of which more Action will be taken.
