The dead accused Moeez Saleem died due to violence and not physical, according to the post-mortem report

The post-mortem report of Mueez Saleem, the accused killed in Karachi’s Derakhshan police station, has come out.

The report stated that the death of Mueez Saleem, who was arrested in the police station, was not physical but due to violence.

According to the post-mortem report, several marks of torture have been found on Mueez’s body, the samples obtained from the body have been sent for chemical analysis.

Investigation of the incident is going on under the leadership of DIG West, a case has also been registered in Sahil police station at the government’s behest.

SHO Derakhshan Ali Raza and Head Editor Faisal Ahmed have been arrested, while SP Clifton Nairul Hasan has been suspended and an investigation is underway.

The investigation team has recorded the statements of the detained accused.

According to the FIR, SHO Derakhshan and ASI did not hand over the accused arrested on the charge of extortion to the investigating police but instead kept him in custody.

According to police officials, the SP President called the incident suspicious in the initial inquiry.
